Sloth's Choice Awards - Favorite Fiction Books

It's time to celebrate my year in books. I will be spreading my favorites throughout a bunch of categories, but these are all favorites. For more of my favorites, check out my Five Star Friday posts. Today I will be sharing.....
Favorite Fiction Books!

I read a lot of books that fit into multiple categories, and I am bunching them here under fiction. Again, these are all books that were published this year by authors I have enjoyed in the past. Mot are contemporary books while a few are short stories and a few more have a bit of mystery and magic.
  1. Pictures of You by Emma Grey
  2. The Answer Is No by Fredrick Backman
  3. What Does It Feel Like? by Sophie Kinsella
  4. The Same Bright Stars by Ethan Joella
  5. Eddie Winston Is Looking For Love by Marianne Cronin
  1. The Bookstore Wedding by Alice Hoffma
  2. How to Disgracefully by Clare Pooley
  3. Lovers and Liars by Amanda Eyre Ward
  4. Christa Comes Out of Her Shell by Abbi Waxman
  5. Expiration Dates by Rebecca Serle

  1. Great list, Sam. I've read 5 of these books and really enjoyed them. I still have to read Eddie Winston Is Looking For Love.

    1. I swear! Marianne Cronin is so good at writing intergenerational friendships. I adored the one in Eddie, and I adored Eddie! He was such a sweet and tenderhearted character. I can't wait for you to meet him.

    1. Poole is someone I feel is underrated. All her books have been amazing. No was a lot of fun, and Backman didn't have enough time to kill anyone (LOL)

    1. It's interesting to see how good Pooley's books have become. I did love her debut but the books kept getting better and better.
