Sloth's Choice Awards - Favorite Backlist Book

It's time to celebrate my year in books. I will be spreading my favorites throughout a bunch of categories, but these are all favorites. For more of my favorites, check out my Five Star Friday posts. Today I will be sharing.....
Favorite Backlist Book!

A few years ago, I vowed to read more older books and books I owned. It was one of the best decisions I ever made because I have found so many wonderful books that I missed when they first came out. Below are some gems I found this year.

  1. The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett by Annie Lyons
  2. The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams
  3. Rules for Visiting by Jessica Francis Kane
  4. Before We Were Strangers by Renee Carlino
  5. Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano
  1. The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce
  2. The Lights of Sugarberry Cove by Heather Webber
  3. This Disaster Loves You by Richard Roper
  4. The Scent Keeper by Erica Bauermeister
  5. The Beach Trees by Karen White

    1. Eudora was an incredible character. The setup for that book reminds me so much of A Man Called Ove though it is a very different story. It was so wonderful and heartwarming.

  3. I haven't heard of any of these books, but The Beach Trees looks interesting.

    1. Look at that! The Beach Trees was interesting since I had only read those paranormals by White. It was a good story with a mystery that was intriguing.
