Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
I am combining CWW with Books From the Backlog hosted by Carole at Carole's Random Life in Books. This will allow me to feature some newly "rediscovered" books, which I plan on reading, alongside a new release.
This week I can't wait for

The remarkable next novel from Matt Haig, the author of #1 New York Times bestseller The Midnight Library, with more than nine million copies sold worldwide
“What looks like magic is simply a part of life we don’t understand yet…”
When retired math teacher Grace Winters is left a run-down house on a Mediterranean island by a long-lost friend, curiosity gets the better of her. She arrives in Ibiza with a one-way ticket, no guidebook and no plan.
Among the rugged hills and golden beaches of the island, Grace searches for answers about her friend’s life, and how it ended. What she uncovers is stranger than she could have dreamed. But to dive into this impossible truth, Grace must first come to terms with her past.
Filled with wonder and wild adventure, this is a story of hope and the life-changing power of a new beginning.
I am actually hoping to read my backlog book from last week. Fingers crossed that I don't get a million library holds come through again. But I am here to share a books I am looking forward to reading.
I became obsessed with Haig's work after being dazzled by The Midnight Library. My second book from him was just as great and thought provoking as my first, and I am ready for me. The Life Impossible sounds like it will make me think and feel. I love the idea of this woman picking up and heading to this island in search of answer about her friend. The synopsis also says the story is about new beginnings, and that is another theme that never fails for me. I am very much excited about and looking forward to reading this book which I am sure will be added to my list of hits from Haig.
