Top Ten Tuesday - Quiet on the Set!

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

Quite on the Set!

Happy Tuesday! Today we are supposed to talk about books we think would make great movies or TV shows. I feel like any book I love should be adapted, so instead, I am sharing books which involve movies or TV shows and their stars.

  1. Right on Cue by Falon Ballard
  2. Built to Last by Erin Hahn
  3. If the Shoe Fits by Julie Murphy
  4. Will They or Won't They by Ava Wilder
  5. Nora Goes Off Script by Annabel Monaghan
  1. The True Love Experiment by Christina Lauren
  2. This Is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith
  3. Enjoy the View by Sarah Morgenthaler
  4. Waiting for Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey
  5. Headliners by Lucy Parker

  1. I have The True Love Experiment sitting on my shelf, waiting to be read. I love books that give us a little peek behind the curtain at what it's like to work on a tv show or movie set!

    1. That book was a lot of fun, and you did get an eyeful of what's behind the curtain there. I hope you get a chance to read it at some point

  2. I love, love, love what you did with this topic! I want to do it! You should suggest it to TTT or I'll have to borrow it for a freebie. I would have to include Built to Last. I loved that book!

  3. Great topic choice!! Bailey's Tools of Engagement was the first book to come to mind for me with this topic. I also really enjoyed Built to Last. I still need to get to most of these.

  5. There are so many books to fit this theme! As a general rule, if I've read the book, I don't watch the adaptation but there are a few good ones out there.

    1. I had the theme all wrong in my head this week, so it's good I passed on it. HA! In the past, I have watched adaptations for books I read, but I won't read the book if I saw the adaptation.

  6. I like what you did with this week's topic! I skipped it because I couldn't think of any that hadn't already been adapted or are in the process of being adapted.

    1. When I read the topic, since most movies are screenplays, why couldn't they all be books? I think the other way around is tougher. Something translating from a book to screen. Either way, I was not feeling it, so I went my own way

    1. Thanks! All great books there. I know I read more that qualify for this list. I was trying to keep it recent reads, but also, they were not immediately coming to mind. Always fun when there is some movie/TV magic involved.

    1. Fizzy was such a great character. It thrilled me that CLo did a companion here because Fizz deserved her own story

  9. Great take on this week's prompt, Sam. I've read five of these and agree, they were great stories. I think they could also make a good movie or television show.
