Top Ten Tuesday - New Additions

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

New Additions!

This week we were supposed to share our favorite books from 2023, but I already did that last week. I thought I would circle back and share the last ten books added to my TBR. I have lists EVERYWHERE! I keep lists on Edelweiss and Netgalley, wishlists on Amazon, TBR on Goodreads, and tags on the Libby app. It seems I added a LOT of books coming out in June which tracks with them being listed on NG/EW. Anyhow, I had a lot to choose from since my lists are not synched, but these books really do look like perfect fits for me.

  1. A Novel Love Story by Ashley Poston
  2. A Happier Life by Kristy Woodson Harvey
  3. The Ex Vows by Jessica Joyce
  4. Better Left Unsent by Lia Louis
  5. The Goldie Standard by Simi Monheit

  1. The Summer Escape by Jill Shalvis
  2. The Messy Life of Jane Tanner by Brenda Novak
  3. Nice Work, Nora November by Julia London
  4. Dear Dotty by Jaclyn Westlake
  5. Malibu Summer by Libby Gill

What new books did you add to your TBR?

  3. I'm looking forward to the upcoming one from Shalvis. She's become a dependable go-to for women's fiction/romance.

  4. I went rogue this week too! And all these additions are very colorful so I guess they all have HEA and positivity! Just what I need. Also I went on Goodreads to read the Ex Vows and that seems just my cup of tea!

    1. I think most of these are romances, so yeah, HEAs for sure. Jessica Joyce really wowed me with her last book. I have a feel Ex Vows will be ah-mazing!

  10. Oh wow, you've got so many here that I'm excited for. I've got the KWH, Jill Shalvis, and the Julia London but I really can't wait to read Ashley Poston's and Jessica Joyce's since their books were two of my favorites in 2023.

    1. Both of those authors were hits for me as well last year. I anticipate their new releases being just as fabulous.

  11. This list makes me feel so out of the loop. I've spent the past year focused on mostly reading what I own with an occasional newer book so seeing there's a new Jill Shalvis and Ashley Poston book coming out and I didn't even realise is crazy! I really need to review my to buy lists on Goodreads and update them so they're genuinely books I want to read and a couple of these might get added on there.

    1. I think it's a good thing to read your shelves. We all know I am cheap and don't buy books, but I am lucky enough to have great library resources for new releases. Culling the GR shelves is a great thing. Your goals/tastes change, and it's good to revisit. I do that a few times a year.

    1. My list is heavy on the women's fiction, and you have so many different kinds of books on your radar for your reading challenge.
