Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
I am combining CWW with Books From the Backlog hosted by Carole at Carole's Random Life in Books. This will allow me to feature some newly "rediscovered" books, which I plan on reading, alongside a new release.

Accompanied by two documentary podcasters, two sisters drive across the country to unravel the mystery of a notorious con man who ran away with their mother in this timely, moving, modern love story about intimacy and truth-telling in the digital age, from the acclaimed author of Georgie, All Along and Love Lettering.
Hairstylist Jess Greene has spent the last decade raising her younger half-sister, Tegan—and keeping a shocking secret. Ever since their reckless mother ran off with a boyfriend she’d known only a few months, Jess has been aware that he’s the same accomplished con man who was the subject of a wildly popular podcast.
Now thirty-one, Jess didn’t bargain on Tegan eventually piecing together the connection for herself. But Tegan plans to do exactly what Jess has always feared—leave their safe, stable home to search for their mother—and she’ll be accompanied by the prying podcast host and her watchful, handsome producer, Adam Hawkins. Unwilling to let the sister she’s spent so much of her life protecting go it alone, Jess reluctantly joins them.
Together, the four make their way across the country, unraveling the mystery of where the couple disappeared to and why. But soon Jess is discovering other things too. Like a renewed sense of vulnerability and curiosity, and a willingness to expand beyond the walls she’s so carefully built. And in Adam, she finds an unexpected connection she didn’t even know was missing, if only she can let go and let him in . . .
I will admit that this book was addd to my TBR because I enjoy Clayborn's books, but there are so many elements to love here, too. It's a story about sisters, and sibling stories are always good for me. There's a road trip. Who doesn't love a road trip? I also like the bit of mystery being hinting at with the women searching for their mother. I have no doubt that Clayborn with combine all these elements to produce a fantastic book.
The Heirloom Inn by Olivia Miles

From USA Today bestselling author Olivia Miles comes the heartfelt story of the bond that brings three sisters together to face past regrets and the future of their family’s legacy.
After the death of their beloved aunt, the estranged Burke sisters reunite at their childhood home for an unforgettable summer, each harboring a secret. With their family once again at a turning point, they must overcome their differences to discover what the future holds for the lakefront house and each other.
Leah’s marriage is over, which somehow still doesn’t uncomplicate matters when she reconnects with her first love. Emma is tired of being the responsible one, stuck in her hometown by obligation to her family and by feelings for someone she can’t have. Sadie’s life in New York has all but fallen apart, and she’s haunted by the mistakes she made that led her so far away from home in the first place.
But when they learn that their ancestral estate is in danger of foreclosure, the sisters must find a way to mend the rifts between them to save the only true home they’ve ever known—and with it, maybe they can stitch themselves back together too.
I am sure you noticed that this book is also about sisters. These sisters are estranged and reunited following the death of their aunt. Sounds like there are a lot of secrets to uncover, and I know I am wondering why they were estranged. I am eager to see them return to their family home to heal and renew their bond of sisterhood. I anticipate some warm fuzzy feels from this one.
