Make a Wish!
Today, we were supposed to share our book wishlist. I don't ever get books from people nor do I read physical books, so I don't have a list. I thought it would be fun to search my read-shelf for books where character's making a wish is part of the story or wish is part of the title. Here are ten I enjoyed.
I am sharing five with the word "wish" in the title while in the other five, the character makes a wish. Most of those ended up being time jump or time loop books where the characters get to relive their life or live an alternate version of their life. I had really great luck with those books!
- The Wishing Game by Meg Shafer
- What You Wish For For by Katherine Center
- Three Wishes by Liane Moriarty
- Holiday Wishes by Jill Shalvis
- Make a Wish by Helena Hunting
- This Spells Love by Kate Robb
- The Second Chance Year by Melissa Wisner
- The Good Part by Sophie Cousens
- In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren
- Again, but Better by Christine Riccio
What would be your wish?

I really loved The Good Part and In a Holidaze!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely two of my favorites. So glad you enjoyed them too!
DeleteGreat twist, Sam. I am the same as you, so am posting ten of my favourite Christmas movies. Should be up soon.
ReplyDeleteFun! I haven't watched TV since 2019, but until then, I loved my Hallmark holiday movies.
DeleteI've read 4 of these and it was fun to see them on your "wish list" because I remembered immediately what their wishes were. Great topic switch!
ReplyDeleteI don't always remember stuff, so I am proud of you!
DeleteI did enjoy that Jill Shalvis. That one was so much fun.
ReplyDeleteThat whole series was really fun
DeleteFun a fun twist on the topic! I enjoyed In a Holidaze. I rarely reread, but it would be a fun holiday read this season.
ReplyDeleteI would do a re-listen. I just can't do rereads, but that was a great one for sure
DeleteI like those alternate/ time loop books. And Holidzae- that cover is so festive! This reminds me I haven't read Liane Moriarty in an age either!
ReplyDeleteHolidaze is so festive! I swear, I wanted to be adopted and be part of their celebration. It was fun. It's been a while since I read Moriarty too. I think I need to read the last two (?)
DeleteWhat a fun take on the topic! I loved In a Holidaze and What You Wish For!
ReplyDeleteBoth excellent! And authors I simply adore.
DeleteI love that twist of today's topic! And I loved What you Wish For!
ReplyDeleteLet's be honest, all Center's books are so good! Glad to hear you liked it.
DeleteFun twist on the topic! Apparently, I like wish books too because I've read and enjoyed several of these.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
Glad you were able to read some of these because they are all gems.
DeleteVERY fun twist on the prompt! I also LOVE a good time loop or alt-life book too, they are so poignant, while still being fun!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I have always been this BIG a fan but the offerings in recent years have really made a strong impression on me
DeleteOh this is a fun topic! The Wishing Game sounds so good, need to add it to my tbr! :)
