Keeping it Formal!
The topic this week was books with really long titles. I immediately thought of Fredrik Backman. He writes beautiful and touching books with some of the longest titles I have ever seen. But, long is very subjective too. I cannot be bothered with too many words in a title. As a community, we use acronyms for books with five words in the title. Is five words really long? So, those are my thoughts on long titles.
With all that said, I decided to do something else. I read a lot of books with the characters' names in the title, and lately, I have been seeing full names in the titles. Here are ten books I have read and enjoyed, which contain the full name of a character from the book.
- Making Friends with Alice Dyson by Poppy Nwosu
- The Revolution of Birdie Randolph by Brandy Colbert
- The Agony of Bun O'Keefe by Heather Smith
- Taking Down Evelyn Tait by Poppy Nwosu
- I Hate You Fuller James by Kelly Anne Blount
- Date Me, Bryson Keller by Kevin van Whye
- In the Key of Nira Ghani by Natasha Deen
- Amelia Westlake Was Never Here by Erin Gough
- The Iron Will of Genie Lo by F.C. Lee
- How to Be Remy Cameron by Julian Winters
Have you read any books with full names in the title?
