My Week in Review
I am going to start with the TERRIBLE first. Remember how I ordered shoes for my mom back in May, and they were taking forever to come? Well, they finally arrived on Wednesday. I opened them in front of my father, showed them to him, and then put them in the entryway until my mother came home from the hospital. On Friday, I was thinking I didn't see them any longer. You know why? BECAUSE MY FATHER THREW THEM AWAY...on Thursday. That's right. They lasted about 12 hours before they were thrown away. Needless to say, I was not happy. That was a disaster.
Saturday was a fishing tournament in Animal Crossing, and of course, I teamed up with the kid so we could win a big trophy. It's always fun visiting with her. She's like a professional ACNHer. She directed me to this app created by a data miner, which allowed me to figure out my weather seed. Now I will know things like when the next meteor shower is or when I can see a double rainbow. (see below)
Kiersten came by really quick the other day too in order to sell some turnips (I had a good price), and she snapped this picture of us hanging out. We're adorable, right?
Monday, I am going to the dentist. I am really curious to see how this all works out. I don't dread the dentist, because I have never had a cavity *knocks on wood*, but with an outdoor face covering mandate in my state, I am wondering how they will examine me and all that. They always have worn gloves, shield, and face masks. Makes me think the dentist was ahead of the curve on this.
I have yet another job training on Tuesday, but I am sort of excited about it. It with part of our own group (the risk management tier) and it's a team I would love to be part of should a position open. I think it's a win for me. The work is more complex, so I think my audiobook numbers will decrease, but at least it will be interesting.
I am still avoiding buying my ticket for my trip in the fall although the tour company keeps asking me for the info. Right now, they are not even letting Americans into the EU, and I already have almost $700 in credits with United from my canceled flights. I just don't want to lay out any more money, you know?
I feel like a bunch of bloggers I follow are falling off the face of the earth and posts have been really light lately.

STACKING THE SHELVES
I had a LOT of great approvals come in this week. I was near tears when I got the approval for the new Emma Lord book on THE SAME DAY as I requested it. I also finally got approved for Kind of a Big Deal, which was cool since that was the book I won via BookCon online and have heard NOTHING about since I was notified. Now it doesn't matter.

Erin Hahn's new book was so wonderful! I adored these two and had the best time with them. I also really loved Paris is Always a Good Idea. It was an fun and interesting journey through this woman's grieving process, and I a was a fan of the pairing.
