My Week in Review
I have to admit, this week was a struggle for me. It's been five months since I have seen my only child, and it looks like I won't be going to visit her anytime soon. I read a lot of stuff, but it still seems like unnecessary travel is something we should all avoid. Obviously, there were tears, and I know other people are in the same situation, but it's still sad for me.

At least I know where to go, when I need some love...
And we have swimming on Animal Crossing with the newest update. It's been fun exploring the sea.
So, basically, I read books and played Animal Crossing. The latest global contact from my company is that we will be home until at least September 7th too. I love being home, but wow! It will 6 months by then. Crazy! The company also sent five reusable masks home to all employees, which I thought was pretty nice. I feel like they have gone above and beyond during the pandemic.
OOOOHHHH! I almost forgot to tell you about last Sunday. Some of you know this from Twitter, but after forcing myself outside for my morning walk, I spied something in the street, and that something was a $50 bill! Since I never found a gift for my dad, I gave it to him to buy scratch offs. He loves them, but whenever I get them for him, they are always losers. Anyhow, he bought some, and turned that $50 into $110. Not too shabby. I was very happy about all that. I have since, found no more money, but I keep looking.
Let's Discuss!

STACKING THE SHELVES
I found the first two books via Twitter. Elle Pierson is Lucy Parker, so when I heard the book was free, I had to download it. Rapper's Delight sounded fun, had a great cover, and you know, "I said hip hop...." - are you singing it yet? So, it was cool that I was able to download the THIRD book in the Moose Springs, Alaska series on EW, but I cannot even request the second one. Strange, but true. Still excited, though.
Bought/Free
I have been listening to a lot of audiobooks as I work, and I have been checking out a mix of old and new. After many weeks on the waitlist, my hold for Lydia Bird finally came through. Wow! I cried so much as I listened to that book. It was painful, but very beautiful. I also really loved Girl From Nowhere. It was a turned up sort of Spy Kids. Very unbelievable, but action packed and throughly entertaining.
