Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
I am combining CWW with Books From the Backlog hosted by Carole at Carole's Random Life in Books. This will allow me to feature some newly "rediscovered" books, which I plan on reading, alongside a new release.
This week I can't wait for:

Two teenagers, strangers to each other, have decided to jump from the same bridge at the same time. But what results is far from straightforward in this absorbing, honest lifesaver from acclaimed author Bill Konigsberg. Why I want to read this book
Aaron and Tillie don't know each other, but they are both feeling suicidal, and arrive at the George Washington Bridge at the same time, intending to jump. Aaron is a gay misfit struggling with depression and loneliness. Tillie isn't sure what her problem is -- only that she will never be good enough.
On the bridge, there are four things that could happen:
Aaron jumps and Tillie doesn't.
Tillie jumps and Aaron doesn't.
They both jump.
Neither of them jumps.
Or maybe all four things happen, in this astonishing and insightful novel from Bill Konigsberg.
I am so fascinated by the synopsis for this book. I love that it explores all the different outcomes that could result in this scenario. It also takes on a topic that is relevant and a prevalent cause of death among teens and it's always a good idea to address issues, like suicide, thoughtfully and compassionately, which I trust Konigsberg to do.

America's favorite pop band, Roman Holiday, is done, dead, and so totally last year. For eighteen-year-old rockoholic Junie Baltimore, this is music to her ears. But when she discovers their sexy ex-lead singer hiding out on the boardwalk, her summer vacation becomes the cover story of the year. Why I want to read this book
She's willing to keep him a secret, but when a sleazy paparazzo offers her the cash she needs to save the bar her father left behind, could she sell out for the chance to save her future? Who is she kidding? That's a no-brainer...but she never planned on falling head over heels for the lead singer.
After reading Geekerella, I vowed to read all of Poston's contemporary books. Imagine my surprise when I found this book has been in my Amazon cloud since 2014. I think it must have been one of Kiersten's purchases, back when she used to buy all the YA daily deals (don't worry, she paid with my account back then). My biggest motivation to read it is because it was written by Poston, but it also sounds like a rockstar romance which are always fun.
