My Spring TBR (Adult Edition)!
Last week I shared 10 YA books from my spring TBR, which I believed would garner high ratings from me. However, I tend to read across ages, and also have a ton of adult books on my TBR, and I want to show those books the same amount of love as my YA babies.
- The Austen Playbook by Lucy Parker
- Fumbled by Alexa Martin
- The Rosie Result by Graeme Simsion
- The Bride Test by Helen Hoang
- The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
- Natalie Tan's Book of Luck and Fortune by Roselle Lim
- The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary
- Passion on Park Avenue by Lauren Layne
- Ayesha at Last by Uzma Jalaluddin
- Waiting for Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey
Looks like some cool reads here!

Oooh, there are some lovely covers here that TOTALLY grab my interest! (Tom Hanks! Third time since the weekend that I've seen this title -- I'm going to have to watch a Tom Hanks movie at the rate I'm going!)
ReplyDeleteI think Winfrey's YA books are great, and I am all about the rom-com, so I am more than wanting to read Tom Hanks.
DeleteThe Unhoneymooners!!Loved! I'm reading Natalie Tan now and will be reading Passion on Park Ave soon. I need to add The Rosie Result.
ReplyDeleteI am seeing more and more raves for Unhoneymooners. I getting a little nervous from early reviews, but who am I kidding! I have loved the past 5 CLo books.
DeleteI've never heard of Waiting for Tom Hanks before today, but it's definitely on my radar now, so thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of Winfrey's YA books, so I was all over the announcement that she was doing an adult rom com
DeleteThe Bride Test, Natalie Tan and Unhoneymooners are all on my reading list. I need to research the Tom Hanks book, it sounds cute.
ReplyDeleteI like Winfrey. I am eager to see what she does in the adult book world.
DeleteI have The Bride Test and Natalie Tan on my TBR as well. I am seeing a few on your list that I am really intrigued by. I hope that you love them all! :)
ReplyDeleteThose two are getting raves left and right, so I feel really good about them.
DeleteI haven't read any of these. Heard amazing things about The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren so kinda want to read it badly :D
ReplyDeleteCLo are just turning out amazing book after amazing book. I cannot get enough of their stuff lately
DeleteI'm so intrigued by the The Austen Playbook, I'm adding it to my TBR!! And I completely agree on Ayesha At Last, that one sounds so good.
ReplyDeleteLucy Parker's series is so, so good. I know a bundle of the first three ebooks was on sale for $1.99 yesterday on Amazon, if you want to check out the backlist for cheap. Ayesha is getting a lot of love out there too. I am excited to see what this new voice in romance has to offer.
DeleteNice picks! All new to me reads! I hope you enjoy them all this spring! I had to twist this topic on its head since I'm not an audiobook reader.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!

I am an audiobook reader. I knock out at least 2 - 3 per week, but I couldn't think of anything for the topic.
DeleteI don't really read too many adult books but I have been seeing a lot of these on twitter lately!!
ReplyDeleteI mix. I read across all ages, though contemporary is my genre of choice.
DeleteThis is a great list! I adored The Unhoneymooners and Fumbled. You're in for some fun there. I'm also looking forward to The Bride Test.
ReplyDeleteYeah! Glad to hear they were good. I adore CLo and I though Martin's debut was great. Helen Hoang really made a fan of me last year and I heard TBT is equally as fantastic as TKQ
DeleteThe Flatshare and Passion on Park Avenue are two I'm looking forward to!
ReplyDeleteLayne is always good for me, and I am eager to check out O'Leary's work.
DeleteThe Unhoneymooners and The Bride Test are two that I can't wait to read. Ayesha at Last sound great too. I'm always up for a good P&P retelling.
ReplyDeleteP&P retellings abound, and Ayesha sounds like it will be a good one.
DeleteNatalie Tannnnnn. I was tempted to download that one since I'm a HUGE fan of food and I hear that's involved big time (along with a cute romance), but my TBR started screaming at me, LOL. I love the title for The Unhoneymooners (sounds like a time will be had).
ReplyDeleteMy finger wants to click them all too, but I have had to back away from the button quite a bit lately. I am eager to read all of these though.
DeleteI am looking forward to reading The Bride Test and The Unhoneymooners soon as well. I hope these all are great reads for you.
ReplyDeleteCLo just keep writing fantastic books lately, and Hoang's debut was so amazing, I need more.
DeleteSo many great looking books. The Unhoneymooners and Waiting For Tom Hanks have me so curious!
ReplyDeleteCLo is always a good bet, and I have enjoyed Winfrey's YA books, so I expect to like Tom Hanks
DeleteI've seen The Unhoneymooners EVERYWHERE lately! I hope you love all of these!
ReplyDeleteThat's cause CLo are killing the rom-com game lately.
DeleteThe Unhoneymooners and The Bride Test both sound good. I hope you like these!
ReplyDeleteNo doubt I will. Christina Lauren keeps delighting me, and Hoang came out of the gate really strong with her debut.
DeleteAyesha at last is high on my TBR. I cannot wait for that one and might end up preordering before it comes out.
ReplyDeleteEarly reviews are good, so I feel great about it.
DeleteI want to know more about this Tom Hanks book. :)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds adorable and I think Winfrey can pull it off
DeleteI love how bright and colourful all these covers are! Definetly very spring and summer-y! 😍
ReplyDeleteThey really are beautiful together
DeleteI haven't read any of these but Natalie Tan's Book of Luck and Fortune looks awesome :)
ReplyDeleteThat cover is epic and the story sounds fantastic
DeleteWaiting for Tom Hanks is on my list too!! It sounds so cute.

Sounds super cute and I think Winfrey can do a great job with the concept
DeleteThe Bride Test and The UnHoneymooners are both high on my TBR and I hope to start both in the next week or two. I haven't read anything by Alexa Martin yet but I definitely want to.
ReplyDeleteMartin's debut was good. It about football WAGS, and I am eager to see the new coupling at work.
DeleteSo many of these books are on my tbr as well! I have ARCs to a few, but I'm not so patiently waiting until a little closer to release date to read them! Hope you enjoy all of these when you get to them!
ReplyDeleteI read in publication order and am at the beginning of April right now. Many of these are much later the spring.
DeleteThe Bride Test is on my list too Sam!!! Sophie @bewareofthereader
ReplyDeleteI heard it amazing too. So, SQUEEEEE!
DeleteI'm still laughing at the Someecard lol
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth
Those always make me laugh
DeleteThe Austin Playbook sounds good. :)
ReplyDeleteAll Parker's books are great. I don't know if your Amazon is running the deal, but US Amazon bundled the first three books for $1.99, which is a steal if you ask me.
DeleteI'm keeping my fingers crossed that I love Passion on Park Avenue by Lauren Layne. Her last few books and I haven't exactly meshed perfectly so I'm super excited and nervous to read that one! Have fun devouring all of the books on your list!
ReplyDeleteJen @ Star-Crossed Book Blog
Lauren Layne is always a good time for me. I think I have rated maybe 2 of her books 5-stars, but I found all the others to be solid for me.
DeleteThat is a great stack of books. I want to read a few of them. I hope you enjoy all of them.
ReplyDeleteMary
I am only one in on the TBR, but I am loving The Austen Playbook
DeleteThe Unhoneymooner's and also The Bride Test are both ones I really want to read so I will be eagerly looking forward to hearing your thoughts on those. Ayesha at Last has also been catching my eye lately as well!
ReplyDeleteSo far, I am seeing only great reviews for Unhoneymooners and TBT. Fingers crossed they are hits for me (though I feel really confident that they will be). I hope you get to read them too.
