Spring has sprung!
Happy Tuesday! Though it hasn't snowed in these parts (thank goodness!), the temperatures have been all over the place. Nonetheless, spring is among us, and those signs of new life and growth are beginning to show more and more each day.
It's funny that this week we are sharing springy covers as I did the same topic for my 5 on My TBR post this past week. What does spring mean to me? As I previously mentioned, it's about new life and growth which makes me think of green. I also associate spring with flowers and animals emerging from their winter hiding places. Below are ten books which I have read and enjoyed whose covers make me think SPRING! There is even one that makes me think of the pollen floating around, lol. You will know which one.
- We All Live Here by Jojo Moyes
- Out of the Woods by Hannah Bonam-Young
- Work in Progress by Kat Mackenzie
- Spring Fling by Annie England Noblin
- You Between the Lines by Katie Naymon
- On Second Thought by Kristan Higgins
- Eddie Winston is Looking for Love by Marianne Cronin
- Give Me Butterflies by Jillian Meadows
- Once Upon a Puppy by Lizzie Shane
- How Not to Die Alone by Richard Roper
What makes a cover "springy"?

Spring is being so fickle here. It's teasing me with nice sunny days then slamming me with cold, windy downpours, like today. *cries* Almost there....almost there
ReplyDeleteIt was 29 this morning! I just want it to be above 40 in the AM, is that asking too much? This is like March weather for us both.
DeleteThese are such beautiful covers! I love flowers on a cover.
ReplyDeleteSame. I liked when Center redid all her old covers with the flower patterns.
DeleteGreat picks, Sam! All these covers are very springy. I have a few of them on my TBR and I can't wait to check them out, especially Eddie Winston (because I loved Cronin's debut!) and How Not to Die Alone. That last one has been on my TBR for way too long 😂
ReplyDeleteEddie Winston won my heart! I hope you get a chance to read it. I read two books (three?) by Roper - loved them!
DeleteI think Spring Fling is the best choice!!!!
ReplyDeleteI went for double points with that one.
