I Pity the Fool!
Happy Tuesday! In honor of April Fool's Day, I am sharing books I was a fool about. These are books I absolutely adored, but for some reason, I delayed reading the book. It could have been the mixed reviews, that it was outside my comfort zone, a format that I struggle with (short stories), an ARC that I put off, way too hyped, was an adaptation, or maybe it was a celebrity book club pick (I know, I am a petty B). Regardless, something made me pick these books up, and I felt like a fool for thinking these books would not work for me.
- Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan
- The Measure by Nikki Erlick
- One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid
- The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
- The Bookstore Sisters by Alice Hoffman
- The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy by Megan Bannen
- My Oxford Year by Julia Whelan
- Again Again by E. Lockhart
- The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo
- The Map of Tiny Perfect Things by Lev Grossman
