Top Ten Tuesday - Pseudonyms and Ghostwriters

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

Pseudonyms and Ghostwriters!

Happy Tuesday! The topic this week was actually pretty amazing, but I was a total deer in headlights. I can never think of quotes or who said what off the top of my head, so I am going rogue. I had recently read several books featuring ghostwriters and authors who write under pen names. I thought I would feature a few of these books this week since the universe was putting them in my path.

Pseudonyms

  1. By Any Other Name by Lauren Kate
  2. The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year by Ally Carter
  3. Love Story by Lindsey Kelk
  4. Book Boyfriend by Claire Kingsley
  5. Finding Mr. Write by Kelley Armstrong

Ghostwriters

  1. Scot and Bothered by Alexandra Kiley
  2. The Lodge by Kayla Olson
  3. Ghosting: A Lost Story by Tash Skilton
  4. The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston
  5. The Last Days of the Midnight Ramblers by Sarah Tomilson

Have you read books
featuring ghostwriters or secret authors?

  2. It's interesting when a common theme or character emerges from several books all around the same time!

    1. I am always surprised to find out about these authors with all the different pen names. Some are interesting. There is one I just found out about where I loved one series but really didn't like her other book which was a different genre.

  6. Finding Mr. Write & Scot and Bothered are such great titles 😂.

I can't remember ever reading a book with secret authors in it...but wait! yep, I have one! Master of Murder by Christopher Pike (a teen who secretly is a famous author).

    1. Yes, I adore a punny title. A secret teen author. I think I read something like that too.

  7. This is a very interesting topic, Sam. I have read a couple of books with ghost writers in them, but I never would have thought there were so many. I do have a couple of these books on my TBR. Too bad you didn't save this for this week. I am so behind with blog hopping right now. Too much socializing by the pool.
