Top Ten Tuesday - My Winter TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

My Winter TBR!

Happy Tuesday! Winter is coming, and so is my winter TBR. I don't tend to do much seasonal reading, but I have a LOT of books I am looking forward to reading in the next few months. This is going to ARC heavy, since I have a TON of 2025 books to get read, but there are some shelf books I want to get to as well. Keeping with my regular reading habits, most of these are authors I have enjoyed before, but two are new-to-me.
  1. Change of Heart by Falon Ballard
  2. Back After This by Linda Holmes
  3. Jane and Dan at the End of the World by Colleen Oakley
  4. Promise Me Sunshine by Cara Bastone
  5. Any Trope But You by Victoria Lavine
  1. Swept Away by Beth O'Leary
  2. The Cottage on Glass Lake by Amy Pine
  3. The Undermining of Twyla and Frank by Megan Bannen
  4. Dear Dotty by Jaclyn Westlake
  5. A Happier Life by Kristy Woodson Harvey

What's on your winter TBR?

  1. I'll be reading Swept Away, too and as you know Dan and Jane is on my list. Hope we both love them!

  2. I love reading ARCs. There’s something about being one of the first readers that is exciting.

    1. I like that I don't have to wait in line at the library for new releases. I am never more than one month out on my ARCs, but it's great to have access to books I am itching to read.

    2. Same! Even worse, there are days when 3 or 4 of my most anticipated books are all published on that same date. How am I supposed to prioritize them?

  4. I have the Harvey book on my "overall" TBR - I've been trying to read more from her.

  7. Ignore the other comment I left if it shows up as anonymous. I forgot to sign in first. Ha!

I feel so out of the loop with books, but I was invited to read the next Linda Holmes. I haven't decided if I'm going to accept it yet. I'm trying to limit my ARCs for next year to lighten the pressure as I try to ease back into a regular blogging/reading schedule. And I was denied for O'Leary's but I'll read it as soon as I can get my hands on it. I hope you enjoy all of these!

    1. I set a number of max ARCs per month based on my reading. I kept to 2/5 per week, and it's been working well for me. I do resist many books that I know the library will get, but sometimes, I want to guarantee that I won't be on the hold list for months.
