When I first read the synopsis for this book, it reminded me of The Patron Saint of Second Chances which was an absolute delight. Like Saint, the residents have to save their little Italian town. I cannot resist a book where the community comes together for a common cause, and I love rooting for underdogs. This book sounds like it will be fun and feel-good and uplifting which are all things I look for in a book.

I read this synopsis and instantly knew I had to read this book. First of all, the title contains the word "bookstore", and you all know how much I love books about books. Then, they name dropped two books I adored as comps. How could I resist? I look forward to meeting this elderly bookseller with the promise of this being a feel-good experience.
