Top Ten Tuesday - Ride 'em, Cowboy!

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is...

Ride 'em, Cowboy!

Happy Tuesday! We got a freebie this week, and I thought I would talk about cowboy books. I wouldn't say I was a big cowboy romance reader, but a few good ones have found their way to me, so I thought I would share. What do I consider a "cowboy" book? These books are involve horses and ranches which point to cowboys if you ask me.
  1. The Feud by Sawyer Bennett
  2. Done and Dusted by Lyla Sage
  3. Marrying Off Morgan McBride by Amy Barry
  4. Something Wilder by Christina Lauren
  5. Even If It Breaks Your Heart by Erin Hahn
  1. The Bodyguard by Katherine Center
  2. Swift and Saddled by Lyla Sage
  3. Wild Card by Karina Halle
  4. A Cowboy Never Quits by Cindi Madsen
  5. Hope Ignites by Jaci Burton

Have you read any "cowboy" books?

  1. I just read Done and Dusted and I'm excited to continue the series and see more of the ranch!

    1. I love that ranch, and I think I may have liked the second book even more than the first. I felt like I had more time with the whole family and they really are something special.

  2. I've enjoyed four of these! I am not normally able to claim that many on your lists. I was just listening to someone else talk about The Feud. I need to make sure it's on my TBR.

    1. Look at that! It was bound to happen. You read a lot of books from all over the genre spectrum, so I expect we would have some overlap. I hope you get a chance to check out The Feud. I thought it was a solid start to the series.

  3. My Libby hold for The Feud just came in so I have that to look forward to. I've been loving Brooke Montgomery's Sugarland Creek series. It takes place on a horse ranch/retreat in TN and there are definitely cowboys/ranch hands.

    2. If you have Kindle Unlimited, that Brooke Montgomery series is available on KU!

    3. I recently canceled my KU subscription. With the price hike, I was not getting my moneys worth. I really didn't read enough from there.

  4. Love cowboy books! I've read a lot. I also enjoyed Something Wilder, Marrying Off Morgan McBride, and The Bodyguard. I'm curious about The Feud and Done and Dusted.

    1. The family in the Rebel Blue Ranch books is so wonderful! I want to be adopted. I think that's one of the big draws for me with Done & Dusted and Swift & Saddled. I know I am only on the shallow end of the cowboy romance pool, but I have enjoyed being on the ranch, horse, etc.

  5. I saw your comment on Done and Dusted as being a surprised in your mid year tag Sam!
