Water, Water, Everywhere!
This week we were supposed to talk about books we would like to throw in the ocean. I am never a fan of the negative topics, so I am going rogue again. I will be spotlighting some books I read, where water or a body of water was featured in the story. - Beach Read by Emily Henry - Lakeside setting
- Moti on the Water by Leylah Attar - Two weeks at sea on a yacht
- Far Cry by Kate Canterbary - Seaside town setting
- Mistletoe in Paradise by Jill Shalvis - A Christmas yacht adventure
- The Kindred Spirits Supper Club by Amy E. Reichert - Duck tours on the Wisconsin River
- Float Plan by Trish Doller - Sailing in the Caribbean
- Shipped by Angie Hockman - An ecco-cruise in the Galapagos Islands
- Lovewrecked by Karina Halle - Shipwrecked in the South Pacific
- The Last Train to Key West by Chanel Cleeton - Ocean threat due to hurricane
- Joni, Underway by Kelly Oram, Jonathan Harrow - Sailing trip
Have you read any books featuring bodies of water?

Nice twist on the topic! I like that Kate Canterbary series... Think I've still got one I haven't read but I'll get to it eventually. :)
ReplyDeleteFloat Plan is getting a lot of love at the moment... It sounds really good so I may check that out too.
I have only read that book, but I love Canterbary in general. FLOAT PLAN WAS SO GOOD! I will scream about that book forEVER
DeleteGreat spin on the topic! The Last Train to Key West was a fantastic read!
ReplyDeleteAll those Cuba books were fabulous.
DeleteI've yet to read anything by Kate Canterbary although I have several by her on my TBR. I really like the cover of Far Cry.
ReplyDeleteI loved the Walshes so much. Solid HEA romances.
DeleteI loved The Last Train to Key West. There was so much water in that one. ;)
ReplyDeleteSo much destructive water.
DeleteI have actually done a Duck Tour, but in Boston. Lots of touristy fun!
ReplyDeleteI think that's the only one I have done, many, many years ago.
DeleteWe both took a similar spin on this week's topic, but picked a lot of different books. There are a couple of new to me titles on this list I will have to check out.
ReplyDeleteI loved them all!
DeleteI wasn't a big fan of the original topic either so I love what you've done here. I'm starting The Kindred Spirits Supper Club book tonight so I'll be looking forward to the duck tours. I did one of those in Boston a few years ago and thought it was pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteIt seems many of us have been to Boston and did a Duck tour while there. I hope you love the book!
DeleteSame. I want TTT to be a fun, happy experience and reading this week's lists has been a bit of a downer :( I get that not every book is for every person, but I still don't want to dwell on the negatives - at least not in a TTT list.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these books, although BEACH READ has been on my TBR list ever since I heard about it. I have a copy of it, just haven't gotten to it yet. One of these days!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
I like to spend my energy of the books I loved. Beach Read is deceiving. It has a lot of funny parts, and the banter is top notch, but it's really emotional too. I loved it. I hope you get a chance to read it
DeleteI've only read one of these - Beach Read - but I loved it! A lot of the others here are on my TBR, so maybe one day...
ReplyDeleteThat book was a surprise. Way more emotional than I expected.
DeleteOnly read Float Plan and I loved it!

Deleteany watery book catches my eye and i feel the same way about negativity. there's already enough of that going around, so let's be postive

DeleteYou always have the greatest takes on the topics making them your own! love it!
ReplyDeletemy post
Thanks, Emily!
DeleteLove that our twists were similar but with mostly different books! ;) Loved Beach Read and Float Plan, and Shipped and Last Train are on my tbr. Happy reading this week. <3
