My Week in Review
I had myself a three day weekend. It's time to start using some of my vacation days, even if I have nowhere to go. I took care of some "administrative" work. Scheduled a haircut for next week. This will be my first time back to the salon since January or February. I am excited to get the full treatment.
I also opted to change my Disney Adventure from the river cruise to something within the US. We are going to do the Arizona & Utah adventure. I have never been to either states, so it will all be new to me. It included the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Moab, Monument Valley, and Arches National Park. Disney Adventures always have these unique touches.
Noor has been posting a lot lately over at WLABB's Instagram. She is currently doing the Sealey Challenge. Check out her posts, if you are interested in her progress.
Thursday was Poppy's birthday, and I hopped over the Kiersten's island to celebrate. We donned our matching Poppy dresses and had a good time.
My daughter and I have some deep conversations. Here's one from the other day
And, here's a interesting conversation I had with Vesta
My new personal chef?
Isn't this how everyone drinks water?
This guy would fit in great on my Animal Crossing island. They always stop what they are doing as soon as they notice you enjoying it.

STACKING THE SHELVES
Bought/Free
This was a very good reading week. I had no DNFs and really enjoyed everything I read. The standouts were both audiobooks, and oddly enough, both were about families dealing with grief and both were extremely touching.
Books
I will probably finish both my book it's are going well. Sing Like No One's Listening is a YA goes to college type book, and lo and behold, the character is dealing with her mother's death. It's always interesting peeking into the educational system outside the US, but I also love that it's set somewhere I have been (London), and therefore, I (often) recognize places they are mentioning
