My Week in Review
A new month! Oddly enough, time is flying which, I guess, is a good thing. I got an email from Adventures by Disney "encouraging" me to take advantage of the new "temporary adjustment" change in place from all trips through October 2020. Essentially, I think they will be canceling my trip, and rather than let me wait for a refund, they are allowing me to change the trip. The money was paid a while back, so I am ok with booking something else, but how do I know if I will be able to go on that trip? We were talking about a March 2021 excursion to Arizona and Utah that they do. It sounds amazing, and there are so many states in the US I have not seen, but the talk of when we will have a vaccine is anywhere from this fall to next spring. Will this trip be cancelled too? It's a bit disheartening, but with this trip off the table, I officially have no more 2020 plans to worry about.
Animal Crossing had a new update. It brought by the dream suite (which I have no code for) and fireworks. I am looking forward to the fireworks show tonight and to designing my own. Nothing too eventful on my island though I caught these two doing a duet of KK Metal which was stupendious!
And here are a compilation of some reader moments I captured.
Though my neighbors seem to be big readers, they apparently are never reading their book club books

What I Read Last Week
This was a real up and down week. I set aside a book, not knowing if it was me or the book. I found the parts I read cute and amusing, but it felt so slow going. I probably will finish it at some point, but I also DNFed 4 books. Needless to say, I am thrilled that there was a 5-star book this week, yet not surprised it was the new Kristina Forest, because I adore her so much.
