My Week in Review
Greetings, good friends! I hope the week has been good to you. Last Sunday, visiting with my sister, was nice. It was a bit hot, but at least we got to spend some time together. We hadn't had a family gathering since Christmas Eve, so it had been a while. I am still trying to think of something to get my dad for Father's Day. I have now accepted, that no gifts will be given on time, and it's ok, since we don't really have a firm grasp on time these days.
Although I don't really "go" to work, I am excited about the upcoming three day weekend. Since, the holiday falls on Saturday, we get Friday off, AND it coincides with a new Animal Crossing update. If you want to find me, I will be on my island, enjoying my new skill - swimming!
I actually left the house the other day, and it was an epic fail. I got a new pair of jeans, and because I am not a normal sized person, I needed to get them hemmed. I went to my dry cleaner, and I don't know if he ever opens or what, but the store was closed. It's 2020, more businesses should update their information on the web. I'm just saying. I might just wait until I go to Chicago in August, and then I can guilt, I mean, ask my daughter to hem them for me. That's my sad story for the week.
Saturday, I spent on my daughter's island competing in the bug-off. It was fun, because one of her co-workers came too. I am lazy, and have not downloaded any of my ACNH pictures, so, I am going to share some snippets of the meaningful conversations my daughter and I have via messaging.
The internet was all about smol cats for me. So cute!
