My Week in Review
Holy moly! I cannot believe May is about over. Considering I don't really do much, I am impressed with how fast it passed. I am NOT particularly happy about the heat and humidity we are experiencing, but it was bound to happen eventually.
Don't forget! You have until midnight to enter my Twitter giveaway!
Still not doing much. Work, read, Animal Crossing. Nothing much new, but there were some fun moments in the game for me this week. I cannot express how cute this game is. One thing, that never fails to fill me with glee, is when my islanders sing for me. They sing gibberish, which makes sense, since the game is internationally played, but it simply adorable. I had set up a mic near my resident services to try and get people to sing for me and they started using it!!! They have also started signing together lately, which you can see on the far right.
In an attempt to earn my 5-star island rating, I have been creating small sitting areas in hopes, that the islanders will use them. I love seeing them utilizing the spaces, and they will even ask me to sit with them sometimes, as pictured below.
In the next set of pictures, you will see the residents wearing Kiersten's custom designs. It tickles me to see them all busting out the same clothes, and the best was when Bluebear wore a Bluebear dress (far right).
Finally, just having some fun on Myopia. The first picture on the left, is me wondering why I can't grow a money tree in real life. In the center I have activated the monster I put in front of my museum. I was delighted to discover, that he makes noise and spews fire. Finally, on the left, you can see Marina and I checking out the fossil wing of the museum.

STACKING THE SHELVES
So, I had this buy $20 get $5 from Amazon thing, but I think I missed the deadline. I got some books though, and I seemed to be gravitating towards surfing and summer books. I guess I just need that right now.
I was jumping up and down, when I got the approval for Well Played. I loved DeLuca's debut, and cannot wait to return to the ren faire.
My Yall Stay Home win came through too. Interestingly enough, they delivered the book via NetGalley widget. I guess it's good I really, really wanted to read it, since my ratio now depends on it.

What I Read Last Week
I seemed to have quite a black sheep week, because I had success with books that have meh ratings. I always say, that I am looking for entertainment and to feel something. These books did that, some more than others. A few had me pondering things long after I read that last page, and I appreciate anything that can distract me from the things I normally have turning over and over again in my head.
