I love a good challenge, and I had fun combing my read shelves looking for book titles featuring numbers. You would think there are numbers everywhere, right? Wrong. I guess I don't read a lot of books with numeric titles, but here are some I throughly enjoyed.
- Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake
- Seven Ways We Lie by Riley Redgate
- 100 Days of Sunlight by Abbie Emmons
- Odd One Out by Nic Stone
- Four Three Two One by Courtney C. Stevens
- The Seven Torments of Amy and Craig by Don Zolidis
- One of Us is Lying by Karen McManus
- The House at 758 by Kathryn Berla
- Top Ten by Katie Cotugno
- A Million Junes by Emily Henry
Do you have a favorite "numbers" book?

I did the same, going for the numbers in titles for books I enjoyed. I didn't have a huge number to pick from which surprised me a bit!
ReplyDeleteI found more with numbers than I thought I would
DeleteThree Dark Crowns and One of Us is Lying are two books I want to read, especially the latter!
ReplyDeleteGenesis @ Whispering Chapters
I loved both. I am so excited that One of Us is Lying got a sequel
DeleteI almost used Cotugno's Top Ten, too. :) But I already had a title with "10" in it (Ten Tiny Breaths) and I didn't want to duplicate. That was a good one... even though I know you had problems with the ending. :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't have every number, so I have dupes. Lots of "ones" on my read shelf
DeleteI had fun doing this too! I actually found it quite surprising how many books I had read with titles with them. I had to choose for some!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to try 1 through 10, but I couldn't cover every number
Deletelove it when there are so many books i want to share, i have to pick and choose...carefully, so i get the best ones
ReplyDeletesherry @ fundinmental
I have to set rules for these lists so I can spread the love around
DeleteAhh this is such a great list! I really loved Seven Ways We Lie, this book deserves way more praise, it's such a good read :)
ReplyDeleteIt was good, and may be my second favorite of Redgate's books after Noteworthy
DeleteFun! I used to love to do these kinds of challenges - I did one with all the letters of my blog name but now I don't have many books left to choose from. #readerproblemithoughtiwouldneverhave lol
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth
Really? You seem to read a bunch. These lists are great for me, because I have a lot to choose from
DeleteI love the Three Dark Crown series and also really loved 4 3 2 1. I thought Two Can Keep a Secret was even better than One of us is Lying. I also just went and added several of your suggestions to my TBR, because they sound great! I have been an absent blogger lately, but this is such a fun topic; I might have to write a post on a not-Tuesday to join in!
ReplyDeleteI thought Two Can Keep a Secret was great too. I was surprised so many people were meh about it. I do topics off day, if it's something that really excites me
DeleteYes to Three Dark Crowns and One Of Us Is Lying. Both are so fun.
ReplyDeleteAnd ooh Top Ten too! I liked that one.
Top Ten was a hit for me, even if a lot of people hated it.
DeleteThis was a fun challenge, right? I had a lot more books with numbers than I thought I did. Loved One of Us is Lying and I have Two Can Keep a Secret on my list. :)
ReplyDeleteAgreed, I found more than I anticipated. I am a solid McManus fan. I will read anything she writes
DeleteHa! I don't think I have books with numbers in the title. I'll have to check that out.
ReplyDeleteWhat about ONE? I found that the most
DeleteI loved Four Three Two One - such a powerful read!
ReplyDeleteI did too. I have liked a bunch of books by Steven's and wish they got more attention
DeleteOne of Us Is Lying was a hit for me and I so want to read 100 days of Sunshine!
ReplyDeleteI loved both McManus' books. Cannot wait for the sequel!
DeleteI struggled with this topic... I couldn't even remember that two books in my current favourite series (The Guild Codex) have numbers in the titles! lol
ReplyDeleteI managed though and so did you so yeay!
I found One in a bunch of titles, but tried to have a little variety
DeleteI really want to read A Million Junes. I feel like it's been on my TBR forever. Also, the cover is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLindsi @ Do You Dog-ear? 💬
That book was spectacular! The writing, the story, I loved it all.
DeleteOne of Us Is Lying is so good! It was fun to see it made your list!
ReplyDeleteI loved both McManus' books. I am so excited for the sequel to One of Us is Lying too!
DeleteAgain, ones that I know and haven't read! One of my favourite numbers titles is a classic, Fahrenheit 451. I also really liked 1984 as well :D Yay for numbers :)
ReplyDeleteI never read Faherheit, though it's a required reading book I remember my daughter liking, by I enjoyed 1984. Orwell was a visionary.
