In light of recent events, I wanted to take some time to spread some blogger love. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to interact with many of you. Though I may not comment on every post, I am reading them, and I cannot thank you all enough for the smiles and joy many of you bring to me.
Nick keeps me up to date on all the latest romance reads and strives to bring more attention to great diverse romance. She is also a super fabulous STEM-girl, whose intellectual brilliance has me in awe.
AJ slays me. I don't think I have ever read a post by AJ that didn't make me giggle at some point. She also goes on these long walks, and her commentary is fascinating, as well as amusing.
I followed Shannon for eons. She is also super witty, and her love and adoration for The 100 delights me. She can also write short reviews, which are super informative - that's a skill I covet.
Amber is my Chi-town connection, and her enthusiasm for soccer and Disney is contagious.
I used to frequent Gen's old blog, and was overjoyed she returned to blogging. Though I don't really blog about romance, I read A LOT of romance books, and it's fun gushing over them with her.
Heidi is a blogger I have followed for a looooong time. She always features a great mix of book, and she hosts Tell Me Something Tuesday, which I sometimes partake in (though, I do it on Fridays).
Angela is a fellow Jersey girl, who always makes me green with envy with all her trips. I am glad I get to travel so much with her, and look forward to hearing about each new outing.
Roberta is all about bringing those less hyped books to my attention, and she writes these really well thought out reviews. So, essentially, the opposite of my reviews.
Tracy keeps me up to date with YA fantasy. I am known to dabble in fantasy, and I know I can rely on her to point me in the direction of some good ones. She also runs a lot of races at Disney World, and almost makes me want to do such things.
Suzanne brings me a nice mix of books, and we actually have quite a bit of overlap across age groups. She is usually ahead of me with review books, and I often use her reviews to help me decide if I should take the chance or pass.
Dani always impresses me with her graphics and the amazing way she talks about books. It's not hard to tell she is an actual writer.
Karen reads a nice mix of books, and I can always find some in common with her, but I really love seeing all the pictures of her pets and hearing about their antics. That's how you bring a smile to my face.
Sophie is another blogger, who never fails to make me smile. Her posts always have this energy that transfers from the webpage, right to me.
Kristen shares her fantastic artwork with us, and she does a lot of boost indie books, as well as diverse SFF books. She is one the few, who highlights many works featuring characters with disabilities.
Michelle is such a straight shooter, and I love her for it. We also share a love for Chloe Snow, and that goes far for me.
Carole is another blogger I made fast friends with. She reads a wide array of books, and her Books from the Backlog feature actually have me reading my own books.
Becky also reads a lot of romance, and she writes these posts that always have me smiling and laughing. Her humor is a perfect fit for me.
I need to start doing more of these posts, just to let you know, that I am thinking of you and I appreciate you. More to come!!!!
Now it's your turn!
Pick a blogger and tell me why you love them

Awww! Thanks Sam! You're so sweet! I love your blog for all your awesome Y.A. reads! It always guides me on what to add to my TBR, buy, or read. I voted for your blog in the awards :). Good Luck!!!
ReplyDeleteLindy@ A Bookish Escape
I have no chance in those awards, but thank you so much for voting for me. I was stunned to be nominated. XOXO
DeleteQuote: "and she writes these really well thought out reviews. So, essentially, the opposite of my reviews."
ReplyDelete😂 😊 I always tell myself my reviews are too long LOL. But I can't seem to help myself...But the beauty of it is, ALL our reviews are valid and appeal to someone with different needs!
There is a difference between reviews that are too long and don't really say anything of substance and yours. I specialize in the fangirl review, and you have more real analysis. Both have a place in this world.
DeleteLove, love, love this, Sam! :) What a perfect way (and a great time) to spread some blogger love. Many of these are bloggers I already know and love (Amber and Lindsi and Suzanne and Karen, among others) but you've also introduced me to some new names/blogs to check out. I'm so glad you shared this... and I'm so glad we're friends! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're my Jax connection. I wish I knew you when I lived there. XOXO
DeleteMany of these bloggers I also follow, others I've 'seen around' but need to check out and some are new! I often struggle to keep up with visits and the blogger love posts this week is going to make it harder as I check out some more! 😂
ReplyDeleteI am always trying to find new blogs. The more the merrier. I hope you find some new faves on that list.
DeleteAwwwww I love this, Sam! I feel honored you've included me on here! I love your blog so much, especially your reviews. You make me want to read more YA!(Ive started requesting YA titles, thanks to you).
ReplyDeleteI follow a lot of these! But there are some that I'm going to check out now. I agree on Nicole and her amount of effort she puts into blogging and making everybody feel special; Shannon, with her reviews, especially the short ones! I wish I had that talent; Becky is fantastic! I look forward so much to her posts! I cannot leave Nick out. Her blog is one I frequent a lot for recs! And Tanya! Her recs are always wonderful! Amber is another one I look forward to her posts a lot. And Tracy is my go-to for those fantasy recs!
Genesis @ Whispering Chapters
Whoo hoo for YA! I am determined to perfect the short review. This is definitely something I need to do more often, because there are a ton of bloggers I adore.
DeleteThank you for including me, Sam! I have not been great about commenting and being a part of the community this year. I have just been have a really rough year in my personal life. When I saw that Grace had passed, I was (and still am) crushed but it helped me to see how important each and every one of my blogging friends really are to me. I love reading all of your thoughts and enjoy learning about how things are going in your life. I follow a lot of the blogs that you mentioned but plan to check out the rest. I am honored to call you my friend :)
ReplyDeleteI had to include you! I was really overwhelmed when I heard about Grace, but I was also really touched by all the love from the community for her. I felt like I needed to let some people know sooner than later. XOXO
DeleteAww, Sam, this really made my day! I'm glad you enjoy my travel posts - looks like I need to go on vacation soon, haha! I follow a lot of these bloggers, too, and love them as well!
ReplyDeleteI love reading your reviews - your enthusiasm for the characters and stories comes through so much and makes me want to add everything to my TBR!
Vacation is the best, and if I can't go on one, at least I can read about someone else's. Glad to spread some sunshine today.
DeleteI love this post! It's so sweet to hear what you have to say about all of these bloggers. I follow some of these bloggers and agree with what you have to say about them. For others...my tabs are filling up with new blogs to check out :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you find some new faves in that bunch, because they are all fantastic!
DeleteAww, I love all of these bloggers, too! Thanks for giving my blog a shout out. I’m mostly on hiatus now because of work, but I’m hoping to go back to regular blogging in October.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I was just thinking I haven't seen a post from you this week, but life balance is important. It is good to know you are still out there.
DeleteWe're definitely in need of some blogger love, so thank you for spreading it! I know and love the majority of bloggers here, but there are a handful that are new to me!
ReplyDeleteYou never think you won't have the chance to tell people they matter to you, and I was compelled to let you all know.
DeleteI follow quite a few of these but some are new to me. So I will checking them out now. :)
ReplyDeleteI endorse them all!
DeleteI love all of these blogs! Thanks for showing me some new ones to follow!
ReplyDeleteGlad to share some great blogs with you
DeleteAwww what a sweet post! I follow a lot of these ladies but I have a lot I need to go check out! These types of posts should definitely be more regular :) I'm inspired!
ReplyDeleteI need to do this once a month or at least do a Twitter thing every now and again.
DeleteWhen I started blogging all those years ago, I had no idea I would make so many wonderful friends and connections. That is what has kept me blogging all these years. There are many new to me bloggers that I need to check out. Thanks for sharing your list, Sam. I love that our little community is so supportive. Sad we lost one ours....
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a tough week, and I just felt the need to put some love out there.
DeleteSo many of my favorites listed here!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear we move in the same circles
DeleteSuch an awesome list! I follow almost all of these people as well, and they're all amazing. Thank you for sharing these :)
ReplyDeleteThey really are, and I know I feel, now more than ever, that I have to let more people know they matter to me.
DeleteOh my goodness!! I made the list?! ❤️❤️❤️ I totally didn't expect that at all Sam. Thank you! I am so honored. I totally was opening links left and right to check out only to see my header pop up. I totally agree about several of these bloggers... Sophie, Lindy, Kristen, Nicole, AJ!! Love them.
ReplyDeleteSo many great bloggers out there, and I am happy to get the chance to interact with each and everyone of you. XOXO
DeleteAwesome list! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to show some love!
DeleteThis is such a sweet post, Sam! Thank you for mentioning me. Also, haha, I'm not THAT brilliant! :D I will check out some of these other bloggers. :)
ReplyDeleteYes you are!!!! XOXO
DeleteThank you so much for all the love Sam!!! I know many of the other bloggers and will add new ones to visit!
ReplyDeleteI think you are hilarious and never fail to leave your page without a smile.
DeleteLove seeing blogger love spread around!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's a must, and I like sharing my favorites with people.
DeleteWe sure are lucky to be part of such a great community!
ReplyDeleteIt was beautiful seeing everyone being there for each other this past week.
DeleteAw, thanks! I follow most of these blogs! There were two that were unfamiliar, but I'm definitely going to be checking them out. Speaking of little humans... my son starts school next week! It made me think of you. Did your daughter get that job closer to home? I know you would love that!
ReplyDeleteLindsi @ Do You Dog-ear? 💬
I also think this is a wonderful idea and look forward to future posts like it! I want to try and do one myself. :) The book blogging community is awesome!
DeleteMy daughter will be working on a project based in NJ, but she will only be onsite 3 days a month. She still lives in Chicago, but hopefully I can meet her for dinner or something when she is here, since she will only be about 20 mins away.
DeleteThis is so sweet, and you highlight great blogs, both familiar and new to me. Deb's Readerbuzz is a sort of lifeline for me. She is a retired children's librarian who read and reviews everything from board books to cookbooks to literary fiction to YA blockbusters, and she's the one who got me interested in Dewey's 24 Hour read-a-thon and judging for CYBILS.
ReplyDeleteI have seen Deb around. It's awesome to see that she is still living the book life in retirement.
DeleteSAM you are the sweetest!! ♥♥♥ Seriously, I am SO glad that we are friends, I adore you and actually this whole list too! And you are so right about needing a little more love, it's so nice to let people know how much we appreciate them. You are seriously the best.
ReplyDelete*crying* You never think you won't have the opportunity. So, I felt so compelled to seize that moment.
DeleteLove this post and I see lots of my favorite bloggers on your list. Thanks so much for including me. Totally made my day. :)
ReplyDeleteIn my head, I have a squad, and you are part of it.
DeleteWhat a cute post! I know pretty much all of these bloggers too, so yay.
ReplyDelete-Lauren

Thanks! This is pretty much my circle, who I regularly interact with, and I had to say something.
DeleteI follow almost all of these bloggers (& thanks for the mention xoxo). I'm really loving all these list lately. For the reasons you mentioned & because blogging is SO hard to keep up with consistently and it's nice to be recognized and find new people. My blogger friends have gotten me through so many real life events.

I love making list and even more so, I love making lists that are positive. We sometimes forget to let people know we are thinking about them. I am always trying to find some new people, and I have been lucky to find a great group of people, around my age, who like to talk about books I may or may not read.
DeleteThank you so much for mentioning us, Sam! I adore your blog and all you do here. :) I know and love a lot of these bloggers, and will check out the rest, because they sound amazing. :)
ReplyDeleteI had to mention you guys. We share so many of the same feelings about books.
DeleteI am so late to this party but thank you! I follow at least half of your post but you included little old me who has been the laziest of bloggers of late. Glad you enjoy my version of humour (someone's got to appreciate it, right?). I am not off to follow the other half of the bloggers on this post because I needed more blogs to read always.
ReplyDeleteYou're doing good work on sharing the blogger love!
It's about quality, not quantity, and I love reading your posts.
DeleteSuch a great idea to share your love for bloggers all in one post! First of all, thanks for your kind words---I'm honored to be among these fantastic bloggers. I'm happy to say that I follow most of the people you've mentioned, but I definitely have a few new blogs to check out now! :-)
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
You do so much and your spot on this list is well-earned.
